WED 8th NOV 2017
On This Day 8th of NOV
November 8th is 'The Feast of the Four Crowned Ones', still marked by some English freemasons.
It commemorates four masons martyred by Emperor Diocletian for refusing to sculpt a pagan god.
A prime example of adopt and adapt throughout time...
Does this example of human behaviour demonstrate the link between freemasonry and religion.
We need humans to take a lend of and build our edifices to the subjugation of man/religion
Or, is the real bond, our gang will have four crowns - here's half a crown for you.
In secret; let's wear the regalia GOSH
It takes a person with some strange amount of individual endeavour to join a secret gang for individual

Some of his chums got it aswell.
He was buried close by; but the bodies of Catesby and fellow conspirator Percy were exhumed
Catesby's head was placed on the side of Parliament House - was it winking!
Everybody should have a good god GOSH
2003 The Countess of Wessex (wife of Prince Edward) gave birth to her first child.
Lady Louise Windsor, born a month early at Frimley Park hospital in Surrey.
The baby weighed just 4lbs 9oz (2 kg).
The Saudi 'royals' - the greedy git family with all the wealth - are scrapping over the money again.
Wonder if our 'royals' will kick off - they already have you say...
Are the rich generally ungallant GOSH
Our rich royals - welcome home - are all in it together...

1907 The Cullinan Diamond, the largest rough gem-quality diamond yet found,
was presented by the Transvaal to King Edward VII. on his birthday.
The largest polished gem from the stone is named Cullinan I or the Great Star of Africa.
It was the largest polished diamond in the world until 1985.
Cullinan I is now mounted in the head of the Royal Sceptre which was originally made for the coronation
of King Charles II in 1661, but was redesigned after the discovery of the Cullinan Diamond.
Crown jewels can be a very important part of life.
They are also part of the game GOSH
The transvaal used to be part of the British Empire.
It ceased to exist and became part of South Africa at the ending of apartheid in 1994.
The diamonds were not 'given' to the Brits by the indigenous black population.
The world has changed since the British Empire - Rich brits and white uncle toms haven't...
Let's hang on to what we got...GOSH
When the crown jewels are not in use they can be seen in the jewel house - part of the tower of london.
The crown jewels are the only set of royal regalia left in modern Europe.
The regalia used to be English - they now belong to the UK.
Ta to brexit, will they soon be only English again GOSH
Who first said, 'they are selling off the family silver'
Often attributed to greedy git Harold Macmillian in 1985 - he actually said,
'The sale of assets is common with individuals and states when they run into financial difficulties.
First, all the Georgian silver goes, and then all that nice furniture that used to be in the saloon.
Then the Canalettos go.
Something for a pleb to chew over when waiting for the bailiff to call again Gosh
The Elgin Marbles were privately purloined then sold to the Brits/UK.
They can be seen in the British Museum...
Will the EU help the Greeks to get em back.
There will be some form of trouble ahead - have we made our bed...
FRI 10th NOV 2017
On This Day 10th of NOV
1810; The birth of George Jennings, an English sanitary engineer and plumber who invented the
first public flush toilets.
He specialised in designing toilets that were 'as perfect a sanitary closet as can be made'.
Fashion come and fashion go - even when relieving oneself.
Some loo designs have really been taking it.
Here's me thinking the posh word for pee begins with G no josh GOSH
Is it fact that us Brits are more reserved about the subject of urination than our fellow Europeans.
'Please refrain from urination when the train is in the station'
That sign is long gone - will one of the first proppa humanoids be a toilet attendant!
Where have all the old loos gone...GOSH
1871; Henry Morton Stanley, (Welsh/American journalist and explorer) having been sent out to Africa by
his newspaper to find the Scottish missionary David Livingstone, finally made contact with him at Ujiji
on Lake Tanganyika with the immortal words, ‘Dr Livingstone, I presume?'
Did he use those exact words Begorra GOSH
Henry Stanley was born John Rowlands. His mother abandoned him as a very young baby and
he was eventually sent to St. Asaph Union Workhouse for the Poor.
His statue was erected a mere 6 year ago Denbigh,(look you) the town of his birth.
It caused controversy because of Stanley's inhumanity, mysogonistic and racist views.
The BNP and UKIP one hundred and fifty year ago GOSH
1913; Battersea elected the first coloured mayor in London, John Archer, born in Liverpool
of Jamaican parents.
The honour of Britain's first black mayor goes to Allen Glaser Minns (Dr. Allan Glaisyer Minns?)
who was elected Mayor of Thetford, Norfolk in 1904.
Henry Morton Stanley left this world (and every other - sorry) in 1904.
Did he stumble oner his own status!
Muppets come and muppets go GOSH
2014; The first UK TV adverts featuring the use of an electronic cigarette (vaping) were shown.
While e-cigarette adverts have been on television for some time, showing the device itself was banned
until a change in advertising rules which came into force 'On This Day'.
I smoked for 37 year - I stopped for good on my fiftieth birhday...
I've never been a vaper...
I've never vaped...
Here we - some people; anyway - Again GOSH
German economic 'experts' say that Greece and the EU will have growth - but only under the right conditions
Slave for me and I'll set you free...
SAT 11th NOV 2017
On This Day 11th of NOV
1620; The Mayflower Compact was signed aboard ship in what is now Provincetown Harbour near Cape Cod.
It was the first governing document of Plymouth Colony and was written by those who had fled to America
in the ship the Mayflower to escape religious persecution from King James VI of Scotland
(James I of England).
The Pilgrim Fathers were thwarted in their first attempt to sail to America when they left
from Havenside, near Boston, Lincolnshire in September 1607.
Did pilgrims have it grim GOSH
Fast/slow forard to present time - 2017; not Xmas.
What has America got in common with Israel?
The oppressed have become the oppressors...
Giz a gun and gang GOSH
1887; Work started on building the Manchester Ship Canal at Eastham, Merseyside.
At one time the Manchester end of the canal ended at an area now known as Salford Quays.
A residential area with shopping precincts and home to the Lowry Theatre, the Imperial War Museum North
and the TV studios - Media City UK.
Many are making money from the HS2 project!
Wonder how far it will get or where will it go! GOSH
1918; At the 11th hour on the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918, the Great War ended.
A war that had lasted for 4 years and 97 days.
Germany, bereft of manpower, supplies and food, signed an armistice agreement with the Allies.
The war left 9 million soldiers dead and more than 21 million wounded, with Germany, Russia, Austria
Hungary, France, and Great Britain each losing nearly a million or more lives.
In addition, some 6 million civilians died from disease, starvation, or exposure.
Up the Germans JOSH GOSH
In less than a generation the majority of the world were at it again.
WW11 Left Europe right in it... Upside down...
Is it worth reiterating that the Russians alone lost more than 20 million (a conservative estimate)lives.
The present movement of people was a rubber dingy full compared to the post WW11 period.
A culture or them germans again... no Josh GOSH
Many UK people see the EU as an unelected trading block - and other things...
One of the primary aims of the EU is to prevent another war in Europe.
After the first world war; an american think tank (some yank) come up with the, 'mackinder concept'
'He who rules the heartland of Europe; rules the world'.
Moder day politics is a mish mash of hawks and doves...
Has brexit made The UK, 'the piggy in the middle'!
This guns for hire... giz agun again GOSH
1998; In the first joint engagement of its kind, the Queen and the Irish president, Mary McAleese,
unveiled a peace tower in memory of the Irish dead of the First World War.
Walls and borders were in fashion when we had victorian values - a period of much inequality.
Walls and borders are back in the big time now.
Will Trumps wall and the Irish border turn out to be a more than deadly game! GOSH
The socialist leader of the Greek coalition government has denied ever threatening to leave the EU.
The UK has voted to leave the EU.
The Empire and the EU have shown the trickle down theory to be a right load...
There's one thing that troubles me; without the hard left and hard right vote,
Brexit wouldn't have happened...
Do you know where you're going to!
SUN 12th NOV 2017

1555; Parliament re-established Catholicism - the proddy martyrs were burnt at the stake; not a nice way to go.GOSH
1595; The death of Admiral Sir John Hawkins chief architect of the Elizabethan navy.
Among his many other roles, he rebuilt older ships and helped design the faster ships that whipped the
Spanish Armada in 1588.
An example of the time immemorial arms race; get a faster gun GOSH
1660; English author John Bunyan was arrested for preaching without a licence - cavaliers and roundheads; an all that...
He refused to give up preaching and remained in jail for 12 years.
The puritan preacher most famous for 'pilgrims progress'; wrote it, and many others in the nick.
He was nicked by the greedy git restored to power Charles11 gang GOSH
1847; The first public demonstration of the use of chloroform as an anaesthetic was given by James Simpson,
at Edinburgh University.
There's good and bad in every profession/walk of life.
Mental health - anything they can get away with - is being neglected, to say the least, at the moment.
Heard of a full frontal lobotomy! no/yes...
In the 1960's a 'person' and his sidekick made a fortune travelling the more southern states of america curing
the mentally ill.
He operated on the suckers served up by the 'establishment'.
A full frontal lobotomy involved the insertion of an ice pick shaped instrument through the eye ball socket and
the scraping away of the front part of the brain.
I wish I was making this up...
Isn't life great Gosh...
Foe some; death is even Greater GOSH
1911; Birth of Reverend (ted) Chad Varah, founder of the Samaritans, the voluntary group who counsel those in distress.
Originally established at St Stephen’s Church, London, it provides a service day and night, every day of the year.
(Reverend Chad Varah died on 8th November 2007, aged 95.)
Are all samaritans good GOSH!
The rev was english; having been named after a saint by his dad; a strict tractarian anglican canon...
Tractarians believed in only one christian religion.
Chads dad and tractarianism were marginalised by the establishment; cos they supported the have-nots...
Ted - to his dying shame - strongly believed in reincarnation; he wrote the book, 'when I die again' GOSH
1912; The remains of English explorer Robert Scott and his companions were found on the Ross Ice Shelf
Scott's party had reached the South Pole on 17th January 1912, only to find that they had been preceded by
Roald Amundsen's Norwegian expedition.
Scott and his four comrades all perished on the return journey from a combination of exhaustion, starvation and
When the ice shelf melts will anyone still be here to search for gold GOSH
2001 Greece held 12 plane-spotting British 'spies' to carry out further inquiries.
All were arrested for taking photographs and writing records at an air show at a military base.
The owner of the specialist holiday company that organised the trip was blabberfasted.
A Greek appeal court found them not guilty GOSH
Now we have voted to come out of the EU...
When in Athens, Rome or any other European city will have a stricter interpretation.
MON 13th NOV 2017
On This Day 13th of NOV
1002; English king Aethelred II ordered the killing of all Danes in England.
Known today as the St. Brice's Day massacre - no concrete records; not a message from god; the wonder of science...
Modern day euphemistic non vernacular; gives it the name social cleansing.
In africa they call it tribal warfare.
Wold wide it ocurs naturally and comes under the game of gerontology. GOSH
Do the haves live longer than the have-nots!
You bet your life they do - Is life a gamble/gambol GOSH
In a modern day democracy; the rate of death and destruction depends on the will of the people.
With all these lawyers knocking about; are wills cheap today - cheaper than yesterday.
No seriously - even more seriously - folks; is it true that!
Throughout time; if plebs don't do anything; the deserve everything they don't get.GOSH
1916; The Battle of the Somme (World War 1) ended.
By the end of the battle, the British Army had suffered 420,000 casualties including nearly 60,000 on the first day.
The French lost 200,000 men and the Germans nearly 500,000.
The battle symbolised the futility of trench warfare and the indiscriminate slaughter of so many men.
Hope I die before I get old - must life be such a deadly Game GOSH
1947; Chancellor of the Exchequer, Hugh Dalton - a typical of the time labour party career politician - resigned.
After; admitting he had disclosed tax proposals to a reporter several minutes before presenting his Budget speech.
Anyone can make a big goof GOSH
In this time of change and the indefensible vainly trying to defend the indenfesible...
Another budget looms over the pennies in ones pocket.
Another battle in the war for the hearts and minds (money) of men/women.
This budget will be more decisive than all the pre-election promiseering of recent times.
The UK economy and plebs need a good supply of gravity GOSH
The other mans grass is always greener...
How much grass has Greece got compared to our brexiteering green and pleasant land.
TUES 14th NOV 2017
On This Day 14th of NOV
1687; The death of Eleanor 'Nell' Gwyn, long-time mistress of King Charles II of England.
Mother of two of his illegitimate children.
Some girls will...
Some girls won't...
Perhaps the next line will bring a bit more clarity.
Some girls need a lot of loving; and...
Some girls don't...
Girls Girls, Girls GOSH
If! the love of money makes the world go round.
Offspring keeps it spinning.
Offspring require the act of procreation - some call it sex.
Up till recently...
Stiff upper lip; you breeders; the (ro)bots are coming - pun intended.
Men are from mars; women from venus! - best selling book written by a bloke in 1992
Is it a fluke that venus rhymes with the male impregnating organ GOSH
Equality (Battle) of the sexes is back in the preoccupation of people again GOSH
Innapropiate attention due to power is the fast following thrust to the pay gap GOSH
Mars and venus are a lot closer than one thinks...Psychologically...
In the as yet never ending era of death and destruction by those who purport to (both sexes) believe
Women will never take over from man, until they are big(and good) enough to chin him.
Go Girl - it takes two to tango GOSH
2014; Parliamentary authorities defended their decision to ask a gardener to remove each leaf manually
from trees outside the House of Commons.
A Commons spokesman said: “If we waited for the leaves to fall off it would waste a lot of time
raking them up. It is more time efficient.”
Leafy lines and leafy lanes...
Is there one law for the establishment and a cutting one for the plebs.
The good and the dead must be spinning in their graves GOSH
Parliament has been given a vote on the brexit deal.
Never mind closing the stable door...
The very same career politicians...
We deserve the politicians we get!
They say, democracy isn't perfect; but, it's the best thing we've (you've) got GOSH
Greece is very similar to the UK in the economic and political jousting stakes.
Apart from brexit and devolution...
The old centre pretendy socialist party is still in there attempting to hang on.
The professional pundits are still spinning the debate slightly in the favour of the haves.
Time for change...
WED 15th NOV 2017
On This Day 15th of NOV
1708; William Pitt the Elder, 1st Earl of Chatham and British Prime Minister, was born.
The Burton Pynsent monument at Curry Rivel, Somerset was designed by Capability Brown and erected by
Pitt as a monument to Sir William Pynsent - cost 2,000 quid (them days money)
Pysent left his entire estate to Pitt in gratitude for Pitt opposing a ten shilling tax
on a hogshead of cider which would have affected Pysent's business.
Wanna be in my gang GUSH GOSH
Pitt the elder was a hawk of a whig - believed in a limited constitutional monarchy; as opposed to a divine
right monarchy supported by the tories.
The whigs were the historical equivalent of the SDP, new labour and far right liberals.
Don't mention the recent tory/liberal coalition or the blairites.
Hard decisions and deregulation - when the going gets tough; the tough get going. GOSH
The time spans of death destruction, and democracy, are similar in length.
They are canny big boats that take a lot of turning.
In the days of democracy; many politicians talk the talk; but don't walk the walk.
Death and destruction are still the last resort.
Wanna be in my gun gang GOSH
The spin of today has led to the present developed/undeveloped world inequality.
All men are equal - some are more equal than others
Or is it just a natural cycle of events; as some would have one think!
Peace off; again GOSH
Will Greece have a more peaceful future as a member of the EU, than a bordering on the belligerent UK!
